RINEKE DIJKSTRA

The top series of images shows a young man named Olivier before and during his enrolment in the French Foreign Legion, as her work shows a high interest in not only the effects of natural but also socially caused change.

The second image of a young women, shows two different sides of her identity, which is something that I find interesting, as everyone as several different sides to them and Dijkstra shows this with just a simple portrait.
